They buy calendars, posters, postcards, posters, fine art, magazines, and you name it, like there's no tomorrow. Just think of all the newspapers, magazines, printed goods, websites, billboards, products, etc, that are being created, printed and distributed on a daily basis all around the world.

It boggles the mind. There's an insatiable, never ending desire and need for more images, more pictures, more photography, more vision. Is there a bigger market than the picture market? It's truly astonishing.
So, how can you be part of this?
Well, if you haven't already, you need to decide on a theme or field you like and start shooting. Then it would be wise to start learning everything you can about the marketing side of photography.
Read ebooks and look at how the top photographers do it. Emulate the success stories. Read everything you can get your hands on.
And don't try to reinvent the wheel. Just focus on something that works for you. Or you can test out without huge expense.
With the internet and digital cameras a small player can be on the same playing field as the well established players. In this day and age, we're all internet equal.
So, set your plan up, write out your short, medium, long term goals and go for it. Read, study and, most importantly, apply what you learn. Get absorbed in any landscape photography for sale or selling photos online projects you're thinking on. In other words, just go for it...
